EducationLiberal Studies Graduate as of May 2012, Sonoma State University. I am also getting a teaching credential beginning in January of 2015.
ExperienceI have tutored children for over 6 years. I passed the SAT to get into college. I have also passed the CBEST and CSET Multiple Subjects tests which are both qualifications to get into any credential program in both California and Oregon. At Sonoma State, I was also involved in a program called Study Buddies which helps students with their homework after school. I took a lot of classes dealing with child development at Sonoma State, and I was also a tutor for a class that taught grammar and creative writing. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in 4th grade. Since May of 2012, I have worked with many individuals with disabilities from ages 4 to 22, and have loved every moment. I have also received a Girl Scout Gold Award and a Jefferson Award in 2007.
HobbiesI have such a passion for helping children. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to help people. I will make the process of tutoring both fun and educational for your student. I will be there to celebrate their successes and accomplishments no matter what. I am super excited to begin my career as a educator for the generations after me, and help as many as I can. I will be here for you and your family no matter what. I am also currently writing a book of my own, and have a big passion for English.
