Experience
I have considerable tutoring and teaching experience in English and can provide references. For 14 years now, I have been a Writing Instructor a a major online university. Teaching is my passion; I view myself as a "writing coach", am very encouraging of my students, and have the experience to help writers at all skill levels. In graduate school, I taught English Composition and took courses in university teaching. As a community college professor, I taught in-person classes for brand new writers who were starting at a remedial level. One of my specializations is ESL tutoring. I have lived and taught ESL overseas.
