EducationSaint Joseph's University - Bachelors, Music
ExperienceI attended Saint Joseph's University, where I received my Bachelor of Art in Music. I also attended Thomas Jefferson University, where I completed a post baccalaureate program in premed. I am now working as a medical scribe as I apply to medical school. I intend to enroll in medical school by autumn of 2016.I have spent the past ten years working with children, where I have taught and mentored high school and university students. Because of my diverse background in music and science, I am comfortable tutoring a wide range of subjects. Among these subjects, I especially enjoy tutoring Spanish, music, math, chemistry, and biology. Along with tutoring, I try to teach life skills while building my students' confidence. I achieve this through helping students strengthen their writing skills, improve their grammar, develop good study habits, and better their organizational skills. Not only do I intend to help my students succeed in academia but I also aim to give them the tools needed to navigate the professional world. As someone who strives to work as a doctor, I am familiar with the MCAT, and I am capable of preparing those who wish to take it. When I am not working, I like to stay active by cycling and hiking. I also enjoy playing the guitar, reading, and painting.
